Try shortening your status thingermabobber. Think it's too long.
This is all written from a sleepy person who has only taken a very brief look, so forgive me if this makes no sense....
It appears the Javascript is incorporated in such a way as to be heavily reliant on the Status. You cannot have the xfire function without the status, tho you can have the status without xfire (basically ignoring the script itself). I believe the char limit applies to the total Status+xfire info length and so if the sum of those two exceeds the limit for the Status then you will get funky, unexpected results.
That is my theory at the moment and until I get some sleep that's the best I can give. Try shortening your status and see if that works.
As a sidenote, the teacher part of me wants to give out some advice that you can take or leave as you please. Whenever 99% of subjects are working but 1 out of the 100 comes back different, look for what sticks out. It is unusual for something to go against the trends for no reason. A lot of people don't like computers because of the fact computers do exactly what they are told. If you can find something nearby the problem that is different, it is quite likely the two are connected. It's easier to run some fast 5second tests than to start from scratch whenever something goes wrong. Just my two bits.
tl;dr correlation is not always causation, but the two are seldom unlinked.

Without or a short personal text it really works. Such a shit. The JavaScript always puts the [Xf1] into the text when it is too long. So bad programmed.

Ok, Demon already told me that a single letter in the Xfire-line in the profile-form remedy it. First it did not work but after a little bit acting it works fine.
So just put into the Xfire-form one letter or your real name and it works.
Seems that the JS cant handle it when you type in nothing.

As you all should see the forum has been updated to the new proboards-version. I will need some time to getting used to. It is sad that now all proboards-forums looks exactly like each other. But I have to say, that the colors (the Black) looks nice to the new Layout.
